Meet Flynn – Sodor’s Brave Red Fire

On the Island of Sodor, every engine and vehicle has an important job to do. Thomas and

Percy deliver goods, Harold watches from the skies, and Rocky helps lift heavy things. But

when there’s an emergency — smoke, sparks or even a runaway fire — there’s one hero who

always rushes to the rescue…

Flynn, the fearless red fire engine!

Flynn is part of the Sodor Search and Rescue Team, and children absolutely love spotting him

during our Train & Track Play sessions. With his bright red paintwork, bold personality and

quick-thinking bravery, Flynn brings excitement, action and heroism to the world of Thomas

& Friends.

Who Is Flynn?

Flynn is a friendly, confident fire engine with one mission:

to keep the Island of Sodor safe from fires and emergencies.

He’s unique because:

 🚒 He can travel on both roads and rails

 🔥 He’s fully equipped with hoses and ladders

 💨 He races quickly to emergencies

 😊 He’s cheerful, loyal and always ready to help

Flynn works closely with Belle the firefighting engine, Harold the helicopter and, of course, Thomas and all the other steam engines.
